They were not bothering anyone but the haters

We're talking about the Stonewall riots in 1969 in Greenwich Village New York.

The Stonewall Inn is a gay bar and also caters to people of alternative lifestyles. It was popular with crossdressers, transgendered and also other alternative lifestyles. The place was raided by police and was ordered by ATF cuz Stonewall did not have a liquor license was selling unstamped liquor that was not being taxed; or so they said anyway.

The following are pics I found of the Stonewall riots. The 2nd pic is of 2 of the 'girls' or gurls if you prefer being arrested. The last pic is of a bio male that prefers being a woman. These people were being active in their own place and not bothering anyone.

I'm glad things have improved. I have been a victim of hate multiple times mostly in my younger days. I was openly a sissy and an easy target. Guys used to wait outside of a popular gay bar looking for targets and as a boi in drag I was an easy one. And of course the police looking for lewd and lascivious behaviour mostly targeting gays.
Thankfully I was never arrested although I had some close calls. Living in the mid west I still have to be very cautious. I narrowly escaped a horrifying incident a few years ago.
I believe much of the bashing comes from repressed urges themselves or trying to hide things. The area I grew up in gay sex was explained that one was the man, the other had to be the woman. It was a tough area and lot's of guys were either ex military or had been in prison, so experience with ladyboys and sissies was common, almost acceptable as long as you didn't suck or take it in the ass. It wasn't uncommon for a guy who bullied me at school to use me for sex in private. The areas where the "queens" hung out was always full of rough men. The guy that took me home last week might attack me this week. Or even afterwards. They were always very rough with me, and couldn't get rid of me quick enough afterwards. I am naturally submissive and enjoy it rough, but it was years before I realized it could be done in a more respectful, pleasurable manner.
I believe this is slowly coming to an end but I've still been with guys that got very strange after sex. I do beleive one a few years ago was setting me up for something, but I bolted. And I was once sent to a hotel room, dressed, that definitely wasn't occupied by the person that led me there. I was almost arrested for solicitation! Someone's sick joke.
Attitudes are definitely changing. Sexuality isn't nearly as repressed now and I see gay teens being treated as one of the crowd. It's a great thing!

Some guys have guilt feelings after they have sex and screw a fem guy or Tgirl in the ass.

There have been many victims of gay bashing. Its hard to imagine why so many men fear a gay person so bad that they feel they have to go out of their way to attack them and also in groups. How many macho men does it take to beat the hell out of one passive gay person?

I do have experiences even when I lived in liberal West Hollywood one could have bad experiences with police.

YW girlfriend. Just a little gay, LGBTQ and trans history. This inn also catered to cis women that wanted to be men. They would be considered butch dykes.

The 4th pic is a group of protesters that joined in the riots. The feminine looking creatures are really bio males.
