My Project

We'd started this baby out in our Beemer Pad before the 4th of July and JD getting hurt. It was supposed to be HIS ,, NOT My project. I don't do cement - blocks And mortar. It had to be dug by hand most of the way because the angle was too much for the skidloader. It's about 2' below our ground water so the base had to be poured then pumped out to work on it. JD got hurt just after the base was poured and I ended up setting the blocks and pouring the steps up and out. I have one more course of blocks to set Saturday, cutting the electrical outlets and the sump pump drain line into the blocks, grout in the re-enforcing rebar that tie into the floor then pour the floor tieing the whole dam thing together. There is an angel iron that sets into the perimeter so that the 2 X 12's covering it won't shift. This is why I been so dam worn out trying to get his shit done before harvesting coupled with my remodel project in town at my apartment complex. I am back-filling it with fill-sand but got tired... cxame in m,ade us dinner and fell asleep watching TV with JD.

We couldn't leave a gapping hole out in the Beemer pad over the winter... a bit too dangerous

Man, that is a lot of hard, back breaking work. I hear ya when you say you are tired and fall asleep before bedtime. I'm surprised that you haven't done harvesting yet. We are all done here and people are shovelling snow in Calgary and Edmonton. I will try and keep the white stuff from crossing Trump's border wall. LOL!

Oh, that is what that is. At first glance I thought it was a tomb for burial. Can't JD at least supervise while you do the labor?

I was just happy to get up and out of the water table, so much for living in the bottom of a glacial lakebed, Harvesting has not stqarted here yet but very soon the beans are yellowing out and the corn has dropped drying now but moisture is still to high to economically harvest.

We were laughing it would be a great tornado shelter IF the Beemer Pad didn't drop down and trap you under it.

I* was ready for one two weeks ago but having a ga[pping 5' X 12' X 5' hole out in the garage over the winter just was NOT an option. I will pour at least 1 pad tomorrow even if it kills me.

It would probably work for one if given the chance.

We're tired of the crawling under crap and most of are cars are all low slung to where ramps barely let us beneath them.
