Intruder Alert !

Police officers in a Twin Cities suburb likely were a bit skeptical late Friday when they received an intruder report.

But sure enough, that's exactly what the officers in Inver Grove Heights found. A house with a ? Of course, of course.

Authorities say a woman called police to report the strange intruder. Inver Grove Heights police found a pale-colored walking through various rooms as officers watched through windows from the outside; the department posted video of the incident to social media.

Police Sgt. Adam Wiederhoeft said the investigation is ongoing and it isn't clear how the got into the house, but he said the animal's owner came by to remove it.

A message on the police department's Facebook page read: "No horses or officers were hurt in this incident and the was safely returned to the corral!"

The -in-a-house case comes five months after Inver Grove Heights police finally nabbed a "fugitive" goat that had been wandering the city for days.

WAY back before I came along JD brought his horse into the house to watch TV with him in the parlor.

What a strange story. It makes for good police publicity on social media. Hope there wasn't too much of a mess left behind.

Nothing but some fertilizer to scoop up with a followup with a powerwasher.

Back years ago when I was in a male mode and in denial of my feminine side I was a cowboy for a while. I adopted some wild mustangs from the BLM. One particular tall bay mare responded very well when I broke her to ride. If I was in the corral cleaning it (shoveling horseshit) and not paying any attention to her she would come up behind me and nudge me in the back wanting attention. She was like a pet dog and would follow me around. She became one of my favorite riding horses. This horse was completely wild when I first got her.

not an easy task breaking a horse to ride. We have 3 here in the stable and they follow JD around like puppy dogs and look forward to their evening apple or carrot.
